Honest links, clearly marked

Rachel Blindauer Interior Design has run on trust for fifteen years. This page explains how I earn money from some of the links on this site, and how that does and doesn’t shape what I recommend.

How affiliate links work

Some links on rachelblindauer.com are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission from the retailer. You pay exactly the same price whether you use my link or go to the store directly.

Posts that contain affiliate links say so at the top of the post, in plain language, before you reach the first link.

Programs I participate in

Amazon Associates. Rachel Blindauer Interior Design is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Brand and retailer programs. I also work with select brands whose products I specify for clients, including paint and sample companies (Farrow & Ball, Samplize) and home furnishings retailers, through networks such as Awin, CJ, FlexOffers and Impact. This list changes as I add or drop partners.

My own shop. Links to shop.rachelblindauer.com go to my own store; those aren’t affiliate links, they’re my products.

What this doesn’t change

I recommend what I would specify for a client — the same paint colors, the same fixtures, the same furniture — whether or not a link pays. I have turned down partnerships that didn’t meet that bar and will keep doing so. If a product I’ve recommended disappoints you, I want to know: contact me.
