A 100-year Edwardian house in San Francisco transforms into a cozy pied-à-terre with a colorful makeover. I selected the majority of the colors and shapes used in this interior design based on the clients’ power colors. The result is a home they feel strongly drawn to and comfortable living in.
The vibrant colors chosen are combined with a variety of fabrics to create a Bohemian Modern design style in the house. A yellow entry with a colorful undulating rug guides the eye into the living room. Here, the intensity of purple and pink are balanced against grays with multicolored accents. The master bedroom is cloaked in magenta, with the entry colors of yellow and blue incorporated as accent hues. All of the furniture pieces are selected with a focus on warmth and plushness, while the decor pieces and paintings are made by me and my colleagues for this design.
